It’s been a few days since I’ve posted an update. Last time I did, I was at the Loves in Tipton, IN. I delivered in Grandville, MI the next morning. It was supposed to be a drop and hook but it turned in to a quick live unload. After that, I went to my company’s yard and turned in some paperwork and they sent me my next load about an hour later.
I had to go to Kalamazoo, MI and pick up a load of paper rolls heading to Centralia, IL. That went smoothly even dealing with Chicago traffic. After that, I headed down about 2 hours to Wickliffe, KY and picked up another load of paper rolls headed to Houston, TX.
Nothing crazy has happened during that time, which is always good. A boring day is a great day in the life of a trucker.
I’m sitting at a Loves truck stop in Carthage, TX about 4 hours from Houston where I deliver in the morning around 0800. I may end up getting there a little early to try and beat as much of Houston traffic as I can. Wish me luck!
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading!
